Week 1 is the most chaotic week in fantasy football — and also the most exciting. Rosters are set, the hype is real, and now it's time to see who actually delivers. We've gone through every game on the slate and pulled out the key fantasy angles you need to know before you lock your lineup.

Top Stacks of the Week

The best stacks on the Week 1 slate start with Josh Allen and Khalil Shakir in a juicy home matchup against a Jets secondary that gave up 28+ fantasy points to WRs last preseason. Stack them with confidence. In the NFC, Caleb Williams and Luther Burden are a high-upside dart throw against a Lions defense that struggled in the slot all preseason. The ceiling is massive if the Bears offense clicks early.

Must-Start Running Backs

Bijan Robinson is a lock against a Falcons-friendly matchup at home. The Panthers are allowing 5.1 yards per carry in preseason action and Bijan's pass-game role gives him a floor even if the run game stalls. Johnathan Brooks is healthy and the Panthers have confirmed he's their lead back — start him with confidence in all formats. Avoid Zack Moss against the Ravens front seven, which is as stout as ever.

Wide Receiver Starts & Sits

Ja'Marr Chase is the obvious WR1 start of the week — Burrow looks sharp and the Bengals open against a Browns secondary missing two starters. Puka Nacua gets a plus matchup against a Cardinals secondary that ranked 28th in coverage last season. On the sit side, Courtland Sutton faces a tough shadow corner in Week 1 and his target share in Denver's new offense is genuinely unclear. Fade him until we see how the target tree shakes out.

Quarterback Streamers

If you're streaming a QB in Week 1, Caleb Williams is the highest-upside option on the slate. The Lions are aggressive up front but beatable through the air, and Williams' rushing ability gives him a safe floor. Geno Smith is the safer floor play — Seattle opens at home against a Rams defense that allowed 7.2 yards per attempt last year. Either works in a pinch.

Injury Watch

Jordan Tyson (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 1. If he's out, Malik Nabers becomes an even more dominant target hog and is a must-start. Monitor practice reports through Saturday. Elsewhere, keep an eye on the Bengals' offensive line — two starters are banged up and if they can't protect Burrow, Chase's ceiling drops significantly. Check the final injury report before locking your lineup.

Final Lineup Advice

Week 1 is not the week to get cute. Start your studs — Chase, Allen, Bijan, Nacua — and don't overthink the matchups. The players who win Week 1 are usually the ones who trusted their draft and didn't panic-stream. That said, if you have a legitimate streamer option in a great matchup, pull the trigger. The waiver wire is wide open and there's no shame in playing the matchup. Good luck — let's get this W.
